Join Australian Mental Health Social Worker and Specialist Children’s Therapist, Maryanne Eve as she guides you through this very special and long awaited online teacher training. In 2019, just 18 months after creating her own kids program, Maryanne began selling her multi award nominated Kids Mindfulness Program to others. At this time, she ran the teacher training face to face, upskilling others in how to set up and teach their own children’s mindfulness program and business. Since then, Maryanne has skilled up 32 practitioners in how to run their very own children’s mindfulness group program. And then Covid and lockdowns hit, which unfortunately put a stop to all face to face trainings and kids groups and ironically increased the demand and need for such training and subsequent support for kids. After many requests from all over the world, Maryanne has now finally created Kids Mindfulness Facilitator Online. Kids Mindfulness Facilitator Online is essentially a teacher training course. It is 6 modules of video education and instruction. No assignments, no assessments or quizzes. The content is low demand easy to understand and digest. It is available exclusively online, on demand and self paced. This is a comprehensive training course that is endorsed as a verified CPD activity via the Australian Community Workers Association. Kids Mindfulness Online upskills participants to run their very own children’s group mindfulness program. The all inclusive fee includes tuition/education (teaching you how to set up and run the program, as well as educating you on the theoretical underpinnings). Included of course is the class teachers program 14 session handbook, which contains all your activity description and 15 beautiful calming meditation scripts, along with all necessary class resources to run your very own kids program. Aside from engaging in her own daily practice of meditation for self care and having a genuine passion and love for mindfulness and meditation, Maryanne has also been teaching mindfulness and meditation via therapeutic groups to children for just over 5 years. To date (October 2023) she has taught 200 children to find their calm via her face to face Kids Mindfulness Program. Maryanne has seen fantastic progress in attention and focus in the children she teaches. Over time, parents and schools have reported improvements in attention, mood, reactivity and sleep. Maryanne has also noted significant improvements not onlu in job satisfaction but also in her own mental health and well-being as a result of teaching her children’s mindfulness program. In April 2023 Maryanne decided to create an online, on demand version of her kids program-Kids Mindfulness Online. So passionate is she about children learning the benefits of mindfulness and meditation that Maryanne set about spreading the mindful word worldwide via her on demand Kids Mindfulness Online Program. Kids Mindfulness is helpful for children regardless of any pathologies or diagnosis. Mindfulness and Meditation practice have many benefits for the growing and developing child. These include;

Mindfulness reduces stress and promotes a relaxation response which in turn improves self regulation in children. According to self regulation expert Professor Stuart Shanker; highly stressed children have a decreased ability to self regulate. When stress is reduced self regulation capabilities improve markedly (NYU).
The Kids Mindfulness Facilitator Online Training is a teacher training course. It is a 6 modules on line, on demand, self paced course. The learning content is low demand and easy to understand and absorb, with no assignments or assessments. Complete in your own time at your own pace from any device. Each module contains video lessons that aim to teach you exactly how to run your very own early intervention children’s group program. As well as this, you will also be educated on the theoretical underpinnings of the program, so in other words, why we teach what we teach. You will learn and be educated on basic Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), mindfulness and meditation theory, breathwork theory, as well as the importance of a therapeutic alliance and attachment in the group work process. And we will explore the importance of endeavouring to be being trauma informed and neuro-affirming group facilitators. Your fee also includes the purchase of my multi award nominated Kids Mindfulness Program in its entirety. Yes that’s right, the 14 session teachers handbook is yours to take away and begin teaching classes immediately. Your facilitator-Maryanne Eve, an Australian Social Worker and Specialist Children's Therapist personally wrote, designed and created her own Kids Mindfulness Program back in 2018. And to this day she is still teaching this program 3 afternoons a week at her clinic in Melbourne Australia. She has now taught over 500hrs of Kids Mindfulness sessions to some 200 children (as of October 2023). The program is based on Maryanne’s knowledge and experience working in a Child and Adolescent Clinical Mental Health Setting, along with over a decade of working with children in private practice. Coupled with this Maryanne also has a personal love and passion for mindfulness and meditation practice. Maryanne created this program 5 years ago when her business was in a financial slump. Kids Mindfulness not only saved Maryanne's business. it helped it to thrive. And in 2019, just 12 months after the program began, Kids Mindfulness program was nominated and shortlisted for a number of awards via the Australian Allied Health Awards; including Impact Achievement Award and Educator Excellence Award. That same year, Maryanne also began selling her Kids Mindfulness program to others, assisting them to set up their own children’s mindfulness business. Kids Mindfulness has been a sell out every term since its creation and the weekly program often has a waitlist across all 3 days. Kids Mindfulness has been a success from the very beginning and it has continue to grow and evolve over the last 5 years of operation. This program is therapeutic and kids do learn valuable life lessons but its also fun and social. Kids actually enjoy attending. Kids Mindfulness is an affordable therapy alternative for many families, whilst still injecting a significant income into Maryanne’s private practice. In 2022, income from Kids Mindfulness Program alone was $72,000. Based on 4 classes per week, 10 kids per class (@$50 per child, per session)-enrolment of 48 children. 36 weeks of classes for the year. A nice little side hustle or part time gig. Because this program has been so successful Maryanne has now been able to reduce her other clinical work in favour of running Kids Mindfulness group program. An absolute dream come true.
Kids Mindfulness is an Early Intervention Mental Health Group Program that has a strong educative focus. It is largely a combination of age and stage appropriate Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) strategies and growth mindset teachings. Coupled with this, the program is also underpinned by mindfulness philosophies and it considers the attachment relationship as well as being trauma informed and mindful of neuro-affirming practices. The overall aim of the program is to assist children via role modelling and co-regulation strategies to self soothe, self manage stress and self regulate emotions and behaviours in a safe, judgement free and inclusive environment. Class activities and exercises are a a mix of hands on meditation practice, breath work practice, mindful movement and games, story telling and age appropriate education. There is also lots of opportunities for sharing, connection and learning from eachother. And the best part…its fun.
